Norrona Men's Lofoten Gore-Tex insulated Jacket 2026

This insulated shell jacket (808gr M/large) is made for freeriding but works perfectly for general ski/snowboard activities on and off-slope during colder winter days.

We use GORE-TEX® fabric because it’s the world-leading quality for durable waterproofness (28,000mm), optimized breathability (RET Less than 20), and total windproofness. It's insulated with a high-quality recycled Primaloft Silver filling distributed according to body mapping to pinpoint the proper insulation in the right place.

The fabric is a 2-layer woven ePE GORE-TEX® fabric with a 100% 75D recycled polyester face,104gm2. The Primaloft Silver insulation is 100% recycled polyester, The shoulders, elbows, and the front are 60g/m2, and the collar and back are 40g/m2.

Key features include: A helmet-compatible storm hood with one-hand adjustment, underarm ventilation, a snow skirt that can easily be hidden away thanks to a snap and fold solution, asymmetric cuffs, hand gaiters, hand warming pockets, chest pocket, goggle wipe, and an inside mesh pocket.

The jacket has a regular fit with articulated arms for optimal mobility and a longer cut in the back for extra protection.

  PrimaLoft® is a patented microfiber, that gives great thermal insulation to help the body maintain its temperature, minimizing energy loss. Extremely light, water repellent, soft and compressible, and originally developed by the US Army to replace natural down. As down absorbs moisture, it becomes wet and loses its thermal-insulating abilities. PrimaLoft® absorbs three times less water, is 14% warmer when dry and 24% warmer when wet, than the competitive insulation.
