Their ultralight shell uses 10D by 7D nylon ripstop with a PFAS-free DWR finish to help shed light weather while keeping the piece highly compressible. Inside, they use 800-fill Allied HyperDRY goose down, with a listed fill weight of 3.9 ounces, to deliver loft that stays useful in damp, unsettled conditions. An insulated hood with a single-pull adjustment adds quick protection when wind picks up on belays, ridgelines, or cold approaches. Their layout includes two zippered hand pockets and a zippered chest pocket, so small essentials stay secure while moving through technical terrain. When the layer is no longer needed, it packs into a pocket and includes a carabiner clip loop for easy attachment to a harness or pack.
